Paula Mattisonsierra began her career in advertising in New York City; working as a Media Negotiator for several years with Clients such as Hasbro International, John Deere, Saturn, and Subway sandwich franchise through Hal Riney & Partners and Griffin Bacal. Mrs. Mattisonsierra successfully managed more than $85 MM for the agency’s largest client.
Mrs. Mattisonsierra returned to design school in 1999 after moving to San Francisco. After graduating from Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising and realizing the need for contemporary maternity clothes, Mrs. Mattisonsierra began making preparations for her own company, utilizing her years of marketing expertise to create brand name and recognition.
Maximum Mama Maternity (MMM) was launched in 2000 to immediate acceptance; first as a wholesaler servicing 85 retailers internationally, then as a retailer. Mrs. Mattisonsierra now operates Power Marketing SF and continues her work as a Business Advisor in the area of marketing and operations – acting as an off-site marketing department for our Clients. “I have had my own business since the age of 17 and I truly understand the Entrepreneur’s mindset and I now bring my 21 years of experience and knowledge to my clients, through my consulting business."

Mattisonsierra graduated from Bernard Baruch College in New York with a degree in International Marketing. Paula also holds a degree in Product Development from Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in San Francisco. Mattisonsierra has taught Marketing at the Art Institute of California, San Francisco and Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising (FIDM) in San Francisco. She has also taught fashion seminars through City College’s CACT program. Mrs. Mattisonsierra is a Business Advisor for entrepreneurs through the Small Business Development Center (SBDC) for Alameda and San Francisco Counties and also creates and teaches seminars in the area of Marketing, Entrepreneurship, Retail, Wholesale, Product development, and Manufacturing. Ms. Mattisonsierra also holds a board member position with Urban Solutions, a not-for-profit business organization who believes that neighborhoods will improve by assisting the businesses in those underserved communities.
